Born and raised as a southern girl, Crystal Govan has always had a niche for noticing the small details and recognizing the meticulous hidden gems in her surroundings. With her unique ability to manage details succinctly and her keen eye for organization with a creative flair; she developed a passion for event planning and design at an early age. As the owner and creative director of Fabulously Created Events LLC, an award-winning event planning firm in Charlotte NC, Crystal brings a unique blend of experience, education, and personality to every project she takes on. Specializing in corporate and social events, Crystal is committed to providing her clients with a one-of-a-kind experience that is flawlessly executed and truly unforgettable. 
 
Crystal’s educational and professional background has uniquely positioned her for success in hospitality industry. She attended the former American Business and Fashion Institute of Charlotte, where she concentrated on merchandising and design, honing her eye for detail and developing her creative talents. Following her education endeavors, Crystal spent 16 years at Bank of America, where she served as a Business Support Manager, planning meetings, events, and executing employee engagement initiatives. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the corporate world and the unique needs and challenges that comes with planning events in this setting. However, Crystal knew her true purpose was to be a leader in the event planning industry, and she made a bold decision to strike out on her own and start her own firm. This has proven to be the most rewarding career decision of her life, allowing her to combine her creativity, organizational skills, and passion for bringing people together for memorable experiences.
 
Outside of her successful career, Crystal is a devoted mom, sister, and friend. As the youngest of five siblings, she grew up in a family that instilled the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Crystal’s son, Jesse currently serves in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class, and she takes great pride in his service to his country. In her free time, Crystal enjoys exploring the vibrant restaurant scene in Charlotte, reading, attending church, and staying active and healthy through exercise. Her personal philosophy is to approach each day with a sense of gratitude
